Keeping up with the rapid changing technology, Eurocopies has recently introduced a number of state of the art industrial equipment to add to our existing fleet.
IKON CPP550 colour printer/copier an equivalent unit of the Konica Minolta C5500 is a new generation industrial level unit operating at 55 ppm for colour and black/white with extraordinary printing quality and booklet features.
Canon Color imageRunner C5180 – with the advanced technology and multi-functionality, the equipment operates at up to 51 ppm for both colour and black-and-white output. With hole-punch, folding and stapling and saddle-stitching features, it can make booklets automatically.
HP DesignJet Z2100 – Wide format colour laser printing equipment with up-to-date technology. It can print photos, banners, signs or posters of up to 42” in width by as long as you need. We output to bond or glossy paper, vinyl and canvas. The quality is considered superb and the colour can last for as long as 200 years.
Canon imageRunner iR7105 – A new generation of black-and-white printing and photocopying equipment upgraded from Canon iR105. The equipment can run 24/7 at the speed of up to 105 ppm. It can hole punch, fold and staple at the same speed as the copying.
Canon imageRunner iR105 – Considered a super-model for its functionality and quality in its time. Though the technology is 8 years old, it still retains the ability to run 24/7 with very minimal down town, and all functions as if it were still new! It can 3-hole punch, fold and staple.
KIP3000 – Engineering printing, photocopy and scanning (colour capable) equipment of new generation handling with almost any formatted files to produce up to D size blueprint with up to 600 dpi.
Other equipment – Equipped with a newly acquired programmable paper cutter, puncher and laminator, to accomplish most bindery jobs needed in today’s printing industry.
Computer Hardware
Computer is considered the master equipment in almost all businesses today, especially in the graphic and printing industry. Its powerfulness and functionality will definitely affect the quality and efficiency of the work.
With newly updated computer equipment and networking facilities, we are ready to handle more projects with higher quality and larger volume but shorter turnover time.
These include:
4 computers running Windows OS in the Graphic Design Department, including two stations with Intel’s Core 2 Duo technology. One station with AMD 64X2 two-core technology and a backup station with full functionality for graphic design tasks. All have 2 or 3 GB RAM and advanced graphic processors to run the most up-to-date programs and handle more sophisticated tasks.
1 computer running Mac OS, also in the Graphic Design Department to handle files which can only be opened by MAC supported software.
Internet Café
3 computers with 19” LCD monitor in self-service area for customers to edit and print their own files. It is also Internet accessible to the customer.
Software
Professional software update is among one of the significant investments we have made recently. This includes Adobe InDesign CS3, Adobe Photoshop CS3, Adobe Illustrator CS3 and Adobe Acrobat 8 Professional and CorelDraw 14, as well as other software from Adobe.
Other software includes CorelDraw 12, Microsoft Publisher 2000, QuarkXpress, as well as other general software from Microsoft and other companies, such as Microsoft Office, Corel WordPerfect, etc.
